- Training Dr. Marco Diaz completed his undergraduate training from New Mexico State University in 2002 where he received the award for outstanding Hispanic graduate. He went on to obtain his medical doctor degree (MD) from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2006. Deciding to pursue a career in Family Medicine he completed his residency training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, TX receiving the award for outstanding graduating resident. He subsequently joined the Family Medicine department as an assistant professor for the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. In addition he has received extensive training in Obstetrics and Emergency Medicine and is currently practicing Emergency Medicine as well as primary care. He has previously been listed as Best Doctors in America.

Dr. Diaz is a native to the area and passionate about working with the population along the US Mexico Border. He has volunteered in various humanitarian relief efforts such assistance with Hurricane Katrina evacuees and providing direct care to victims of the 2010 Earthquake in Haiti. We are excited to enter this next phase of delivering personalized medicine and get you feeling like you should. In addition he enjoys exercising primarily via weight training and other activities such as mountain biking and interval training.
