When we find ourselves in need of a hospital stay, it can often be difficult getting all of the information we need from our doctor to the hospital and vice versa. In addition, depending on the reason why we’re in hospital care, it’s usually a good idea to have our primary care doctor available to work with the doctors at the hospital to ensure we receive the best care possible.
At Primary Care El Paso, our doctors are available to work with the doctors at hospitals located throughout El Paso in order to provide you with a positive experience while in the hospital. We understand that hospital stays are often stressful, painful, and worrisome, and the last thing we want is for you to have an even more stressful time because your primary care doctor won’t cooperate with the doctors at the hospital. When you’re one of our patients, we work with you and the other doctors you may see in order for you to receive the care you deserve.
What Hospitals Do We Work With?
We work primarily with The Hospitals of Providence at Trans Mountain, Sierra, and Providence Hospital. Through this partnership, we are able to ensure you receive the care you deserve before and during your stay, and after you’ve been discharged. Once you’ve been discharged, we can point you in the right direction to get further care.
What We Manage Before, During, and After Your Hospital Stay
We can work with medical consultation in a hospital when required and can help you maintain your health after you’ve been discharged. We may also help you get into home health programs, assisted living programs, hospice care, and nursing homes. Our main goal is to help our patients feel better, get the care they deserve and maintain healthy lives despite the condition that may be ailing them. We care about all of our patients and want to make it as easy as possible for you to receive the healthcare you need.
